Our strength is in our Members—a group of mostly retired, highly successful men and women, who have migrated to the extremely popular Southwest Florida region, enjoy entrepreneurship and can afford to invest risk capital in start-up businesses. All Members are encouraged to actively participate in the investment process by i) attending screening and monthly member presentations, ii) making personal Add-on Investments as individually desired, and iii) responding to the Executive Committee requests for special expertise or input as Members conduct due diligence on prospects and assist portfolio companies.
All Members must be accredited investors, meaning a natural person that has a minimum net worth of $1,000,000 excluding their personal residence or have an annual income of $200,000 (or a combined income with the member’s spouse of $300,000) for the past two years and expect to have at least the same annual income in the current year; as defined in Regulation D promulgated under the Securities Act of 1933. |
